CNA / NAC BRIDGE PROGRAM

Prerequisites:

1) Active Home Care Aid License (HCA)

2) CPR certification

3) Student Form

4) TB Test (Results must return negative for TB)

5) Background Check

*Please note: All required documentation must be submitted no later than noon 10 Days before the first day of class in order to attend.*

• Students that do not complete the required documentation by the deadline & prerequisites for the course will be dropped from the class.

• Dropped students will be eligible 1 time for a discounted re-enrollment rate of 50% of current enrollment fees before rescheduling to another open session within 90 days of the original class. 

DOCUMENTATION to Submit by the deadline:

• Copy of your active HCA License (Prometric passed results will not meet the requirement)

• Current CPR card copy

• Student Form

• TB Test Results (Must be negative)

• Background Check - Background Check Authorization Form (wa.gov)

1. Please plan accordingly for travel times & scheduling arrangements. 

2. Please bring your bridge textbook, NA Candidate Handbook to each class with you.

3. Exams must be passed during each class session in order to retrieve a certificate.

4. Students need to be ready to take/pass a written exam based on the textbook on day 1 of class.

5. Students should be aware artificial nails are not allowed at the clinical site.

6. Original class sessions may be refunded minus a $150 non-refundable admin and registration fee with 14 or more days of written notice to the first day of class. The cost of books is nonrefundable & an additional $60 fee for books will be deducted if books were previously picked up.

7. One rescheduling to another open session within 90 days of the original class regardless of the reason is allowed at discounted re-enrollment rate of 50% of current enrollment fees if 7 or more days’ written notice is received. 

8. Students that are dropped from class for failure to complete required documentation/prerequisites for the course by the hard deadline will be allowed 1 reschedule to another open session within 90 days of the original class at discounted re-enrollment rate of 50% of current enrollment fees.

9. Please advise that the clinical site will be dedicated to a nursing home setting and will take place on the last day of the program. Students are responsible of timely attendance and transportation to and from the clinical site.

• Day 3 @ NORTHCARETRAINING: 9:00am - 4:00pm- LYNNWOOD

• Day 4 @ CLINICAL SITE: 6:00am - 4:00pm - LYNNWOOD/EDMONDS (Nursing Home)
